Skiing and Biathlon Complex

The new modern Skiing and Biathlon Complex will operate in the Mirny village, 14 km away from Kazan. The stadium has a planned capacity of about 500 seats, and the biathlon shooting range will comprise 30 corridors.

The complex will consist of two buildings housing ski rental rooms, wax cabins, a conference room, rooms for timing, secretariate, jury and commentators, a medical room, as well as shower rooms and cafes.

The track will be 5 km long and 12 m wide. Special fencing will allow regulation of track length within the circle, from 0.8 to 3.750 km. The venue is expected to accommodate both professional athletes and amateur skiing fans, in addition to hosting sports competitions at different levels.
